Join us on Saturday April 8, 2017 from 7:00-9:30 PM for RAD! Cycles the Cycling Museum of Minnesota’s first annual fundraiser, bike party and pop-up exhibit!

514 Studios Event Center, 514 North 3rd Street Minneapolis, MN 55401. Tickets $30.00

Help us reach our goal to raise $30,000 this year to hire our first part-time staffperson to manage the museum's day-to-day activities. All proceeds from the event will also support our ongoing programs, future exhibits, and overhead expenses. Please note that tickets are non-refundable.

RAD! Cycles will showcase rare cycles from the golden age of BMX racing, as well as  jerseys, archival photos, posters, and vintage BMX ephemera in an exclusive pop-up exhibit. “Minnesota’s BMX roots go deep and we’re excited to share and celebrate that history with the community,” says CMM Board member Laura Moran, “The exhibit will speak to nostalgic hearts and adrenaline junkies alike. Every trophy, photo, and piece of gear has a story to tell." Come marvel at the history and journey of BMX racing with us!

A silent auction offers one-of-a-kind items and opportunities including: a gnarly Surly Krampus, a 2 night stay at True North Basecamp, 2 tickets to Salsa's Ride Camp, a Campagnolo Corkscrew, We The People BMX Volta Bike, a truing stand from Park Tool, Black Girls Do Bike jersey, Ardennes Plus GP wheelset from HED Cycling, a Sturdy Bag Designs Tucked Under Tool Roll, a framed print from MPLS-based artist Adam Turman, Bird Industries jewelry, a Bike Everywhere jersey and MORE!

The evening will also include a raffle to win a Civia Loring 7-speed bike in the winner's choice of color and size, a film screening of the cult classic RAD, live painting with Duluth-based artist Adam Swanson, Southside Battletrain’s interactive Pedal Cloud, storytelling with some of Minnesota’s finest cycling enthusiasts, and a retro playlist highlighting classic tunes from the era.

“We are at a critical point in our development where we’ve outgrown our current space” says CMM Board Chair Nina Clark, “we want to be able to meet that demand. The money raised from this event will help ensure that Minnesota’s cycling culture is saved and presented for future generations.”

Huge THANK YOU to all of our silent auction donors:
